The Association is partnering with the National Center for Farmworker Health (NCFH), a HRSA National Training and Technical Assistance Partner, to offer this virtual 2-hour training. This training will ensure you and your team are able to properly identify, classify and document your MSAW patients in the UDS system, are aware of changes and important clarifications that have been made regarding the definition of agriculture and qualifying tasks/industries, and are familiar with available tools and resources to help your health center set goals to increase access to full-scope and consistent primary health care services for MSAW families. The session will also include review of 2024 UDS data trends for Washington state, and an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences, challenges, and promising practices over the past year related to serving MSAWs.

  • Describe the relationship between classification, Uniform Data System (UDS) reports, and health center funding.
  • Identify industries and tasks in agriculture that meet the definition of agriculture and should be considered when classifying an MSAW for UDS reporting.
