Data Modernization for Chronic Disease: TRAX in Washington State

February 11, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The Transformational Repository and Analytics Exchange (TRAX) is a shared resource approach with state health care partners for secure chronic disease surveillance. Using a shared governance model, TRAX aims to provide those in health care systems and public health with more timely, actionable chronic disease surveillance data that goes beyond the notifiable conditions reported to DOH.

Hear from leaders at the Washington State Department of Health and the Foundation for Health Care Quality about this emerging initiative in chronic disease data sharing – including how to get involved with the initiative to make a statewide impact.

By attending this presentation, participants will:

  • Understand the benefits of having a shared clinical data resource
  • Learn how TRAX can create a mutually beneficial framework for data sharing
  • Know how their organization can partner with TRAX
