Fall 2026 Health IT Leadership Series Session 1:
Help Shape the Future of Health Data Exchange
Join WACH for a new Health IT Leadership Series designed specifically for Community Health Center CIOs, IT Directors, informatics leaders, and data teams.
Session One: October 7, 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM
Community Health Centers (CHC) exchange and report health data through a growing network of EHRs, public health systems, Medicaid programs, payers, community information exchanges, and statewide infrastructure. As federal interoperability requirements, FHIR-enabled services, Medicaid initiatives, and Washington's health data ecosystem continue to evolve, CHC technology leaders face both new opportunities and increasing complexity.
Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how Washington's health data ecosystem operates today, where HCP-OneHealthPort and the Washington Health Data Exchange (WAHDX) fit within that landscape, and what major statewide initiatives are on the horizon. Most importantly, the session will provide an opportunity for CHC leaders to share where they continue to experience fragmentation, duplication, and reporting burden—and help shape the future priorities of Washington's shared health data infrastructure.
