Nonclinical Career Pathways

This webinar will highlight two nonclinical career fields in the community health care setting: the medical office specialist apprenticeship program and an in-house information technology pathway program. The information shared about these programs will help address shortage areas with innovative solutions and options that are available to health centers facing workforce challenges filling these roles.

Over the past seven years, Alyssa has worked to increase the value, expansion, and sustainability of the Association's InReach Career Pathways programs. She works with her team to ensure InReach produces high-quality students and reduces the workforce shortage in primary healthcare. Alyssa brings a wealth of knowledge to the table about healthcare apprenticeships, and she has worked with several other PCA’s to help them establish similar training programs.
